DOCUMENTARY & FREELANCE

CLIPPED IN / DOCUMENTARY SHORT, 2015 / DIRECTOR & EDITOR

Exploring Austin's road racing scene, past & present, through the dedication of two local cyclists & their connection to Lance Armstrong's world-famous bike shop.

More than tacos or cold brew, Austin is a pro-cycling town, and to most of the its avid cyclists, it is the town that Lance Armstrong built. The Texas-born 7-time Tour de France champion made his home in Austin and, even after his fall from grace, remains the co-owner of the town's world-famous Mellow Johnny's Bike Shop. Bike paths still bear his name, and most will credit him as the force behind Austin's world class weekly road race, The Driveway Series. Austin continues to churn out more professional cyclists than any city in the US. CLIPPED IN explores the history of Austin's cycling culture and the impact of Lance on the town's aficionados, both young and old, through the eyes of ex-pro Paul Goldman and up-and-coming professional rider, Jordan Oroshiba.

Cast: Paul Goldman, Jordan Oroshiba, Ian Dille
